CRC Credit Bureau Limited, Africa & Nigeria's largest credit bureau, announced the appointment of Mr. Femi Jaiyeola as a Non-Executive Director on its Board of Directors. He represents Access Bank Plc on the CRC Board. The appointment has received the approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). Mr. Jaiyeola succeeds Dr. Gregory Ovie Jobome, who served as Non-Executive Director and at various times as Chairman of the CRC Board, representing Access Bank's long-standing institutional interest in CRC's mission.

Mr. Jaiyeola currently serves as the Chief Risk Officer of Access Bank Plc, one of Africa's largest financial institutions. He brings to the CRC Board a distinguished career spanning over 25 years in the financial services industry, with deep and demonstrable expertise across risk management, regulatory compliance, internal audit, corporate governance and banking operations, accrued across leading financial institutions in Nigeria, Africa and Europe.

Prior to his appointment as Chief Risk Officer of Access Bank, Mr. Jaiyeola served as the Bank's Group Chief Conduct & Compliance Officer, with oversight responsibility for the adequacy and effectiveness of the Bank's conduct and compliance programme. In this capacity, he was instrumental in aligning Access Bank's compliance programme with the most rigorous international regulatory standards.

Before joining Access Bank, Mr. Jaiyeola held senior compliance leadership positions at Sterling Bank Plc and the erstwhile Diamond Bank Plc as Chief Compliance Officer. His earlier career includes distinguished tenures at Standard Chartered Bank (Head of Internal Audit, Nigeria & West Africa), Citigroup Internal Audit, London (Vice President), and Barclays Bank, London (Manager, Internal Audit), providing him with rare cross-border governance experience that spans Africa, Europe and global markets.

A Big 4-trained Chartered Accountant with his professional roots at Arthur Andersen (now KPMG), Mr. Jaiyeola holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Master of Science degree in Finance and Investment from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. Femi is a Certified Risk Manager, Fellow, International Compliance Association, Fellow of the Compliance Institute of Nigeria (CIN), and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), where he chairs the Board Corporate Finance Faculty.) He has been a distinguished speaker at the RegTech Africa Conference & Awards, reflecting his standing as a thought leader in financial risk management and regulatory technology on the continent.
